About the role
Joining the Student Engagement team in the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, you will work closely with the Placement Coordinator in the delivery of efficient, proactive and customer focused administrative service for partnership activity, student placements and related engagement activities.
You will be the first point of contact for enquiries from students, placement providers and internal colleagues, delivering excellent customer service to enhance student experience and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative processes, including coordinating placement documentation, development correspondence and guidance, maintaining records and financial administration.
About you
You will have substantial administrative experience gained in a busy, customer-focused environment, along with excellent organisational and IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office. You will be able to manage competing priorities, work independently, and respond effectively to changing demands while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders will be essential, as will your experience of maintaining systems, handling confidential information and supporting multi-functional teams.
You will be a proactive and adaptable team player with a positive, solution-focused approach to your work. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to take initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement will enable you to contribute to the enhancement of operational processes. With a collaborative mindset, you will build effective working relationships across the University and support colleagues to deliver shared objectives, helping to maintain a responsive and effective Professional Services environment.

This post is part of a job share. The 18.75 hours (0.5FTE) must be worked across a minimum of three days, including Tuesdays, with some on campus presence required on Tuesdays as a minimum.
