About The Role
The University of Leicester was awarded a Research Excellence Award for £3 million over five years from the British Heart Foundation. Under the leadership of Professor Andre Ng, a new Centre of Research Excellence is being developed, focusing on cardiovascular research with themes such as ‘Discovery’, ‘Interventions’, and ‘Populations’. The centre collaborates across various research domains including diabetes, artificial intelligence, data analytics, environmental health, and ethnic health research. We are seeking a G7 Research Associate and G8 Senior Research Associate to work within each of these themes. Senior candidates will lead research programs and oversee governance, while others will contribute to the research efforts. Please specify your preferred position in your application.
About You
You should have a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. For Grade 7 roles, a developing track record in research is expected, whereas Grade 8 candidates should demonstrate a proven track record, including experience in securing research funding and managing budgets.
