Please note that this role will take place in the evenings and will be based on campus. Do you love Leeds and talking about your time here? Want to help current and future students make the most of their Leeds experience? The Advancement Team is looking to recruit lively and enthusiastic students to work as telephone fundraisers in our call team.
You’ll be part of a friendly, sociable team dedicated to ensuring all students can fully benefit during their time here, by securing gifts over the phone from our alumni and supporter community. You’ll chat with graduates of all ages and backgrounds. The call campaigns are a great way to build positive relations with our alumni. It’s a chance for you to talk and share your experiences of student life, gain career advice and even gain insight in your area of interest.
Previous ambassador, fundraising or telephone experience are not essential. Much more important is an enthusiasm for the University and good listening and communication skills. Our telephone fundraising campaigns run across Autumn and Spring terms. In that time you’ll chat with graduates of all ages and backgrounds.
The telephone campaigns are a great way to build positive relations with our alumni.
