Platform and Service Owner: Cloud

This role is available to current employees within IT Services at the University of Leeds only

Interview expected to be held 8 July 2024

Salary: Grade 8 (Β£45,585 – Β£54,395 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Platform and Service Owner: Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, and leadership, with a proven track record of successfully supporting, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.

The role at the University of Leeds is critical in driving the adoption of cloud technologies, optimising infrastructure efficiency, and enabling digital transformation initiatives. By leveraging your expertise in cloud computing and leadership skills, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our cloud platform and driving growth of the latest technologies.

The Platform and Service Owner: Cloud is responsible for the strategic direction, development, and operation of the organisation\’s cloud platform and services. This role ensures that the platform and services meet the needs of the business and its users and align with the organisation\’s overall IT strategy. The Platform and Service Owner: Cloud oversees the Cloud Platform Squad and the Cloud Enablement Squad, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment of objectives.
