Maintenance Technician
Grade 4 Salary (£23,700 to £25,742 p.a.)
This is an exciting opportunity to for a Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance team in Leeds. You will be responsible for carrying out proactive and reactive repairs and maintenance across our student accommodation portfolio, which is made up of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBASA) and houses of multiple occupancy (HMO’s).
We are looking for someone with basic plumbing, joinery and painting & decorating skills, who has experience in maintenance or as a general builder or labourer. Your experience should be complemented by a strong customer focus, initiative, great communication skills and a commitment to making our properties feel like home. If you thrive in a busy environment, enjoy problem solving and have a can do attitude this could be the role for you. This role requires some lone working and assisting sub-contractors on occasion and a full UK driving licence.
Unipol is a housing Charity, providing assistance in finding and supplying housing for students in Leeds, Nottingham and Bradford. All those working in Unipol are jointly employed by Unipol and the University of Leeds.
