The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

This role is available to current University of Leeds students, enrolled on a University of Leeds programme for the 2026/27 academic session only. The role will be based on the University campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you a current University of Leeds student with an interest in communications? Would you like to gain valuable experience of working as part of a dynamic team? We are looking for a student to contribute to the LITE team through supporting our current communications strategy. LITE carries out its own Pedagogical Research and also supports colleagues across the University to conduct Pedagogical Research to improve the student experience. The communications strategy serves to highlight the important work that LITE staff are undertaking and to showcase the research we are supporting.

The role will involve working with the LITE Communications Officer to communicate our work internally and externally. As a student representative within the LITE team, you will also input and provide advice, offering the student perspective, on projects and initiatives run by LITE. You will have a good understanding of the range of disciplines across the University and will be able to identify and consider the needs of different learning communities.
