The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Using a combination of different design technologies (for example Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch) you will be part of a team developing and supporting the Leeds Design System. You will contribute to the development of new and existing key core services used by a range of business stakeholders, working closely with business change and IT change professionals to ensure systems are fit for purpose and meet strategic and user requirements. You will utilise skills, knowledge and experience gained through working in a digital design role to design user interfaces for web applications. You will work effectively, aligned to the development lifecycle ensuring effective communication and consultation with stakeholders and customers in designing fit for purpose solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for web applications using UX/UI design knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the development and support of the Leeds Design System and key core services used by a range of business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business change and IT change professionals to ensure systems are fit for purpose and meet strategic and user requirements.
- Work effectively within the development lifecycle and communicate with stakeholders and customers when designing fit-for-purpose solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience in digital design roles with UX/UI design knowledge and skills.
- Proficiency with design technologies such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
