Have you supported the implementation, testing, or refinement of system or process changes within an established organisational framework?

Do you have strong communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to support practical, people focused change?

If you are motivated by improving how teams use systems, enjoy creating clear and sustainable ways of working, and like helping others adopt positive change, this role could be a great fit.

The Systems & Process Improvement Officer will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of systems and operational processes across the University of Leeds Advancement team as we head into our new Philanthropic campaign.

Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, alumni engagement, and professional services, the role focuses on improving how Advancement teams use their systems and processes in day-to-day activity.

Reporting to the Head of Advancement Operations, the postholder will review existing operational processes, document current ways of working, and support the implementation of agreed changes and system enhancements.

The role will make best use of existing Saa S platforms, automation functionality, and tools to reduce manual and repetitive activity, improve data flow, and ensure business critical workflows operate more efficiently and consistently.

The Systems & Process Improvement Officer will apply continuous improvement principles at an operational level, supporting incremental, practical change rather than large-scale system redesign.

Working within established frameworks, University policies, and the defined Advancement system landscape, the role will help embed sustainable improvements that are clearly documented, measurable, and well adopted by teams.

By improving the reliability, efficiency, and usability of systems and processes, the role will contribute directly to the resilience and ongoing development of the Advancement function, enabling colleagues to focus their time and expertise on relationship building, fundraising, and engagement activity.
