This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Senior Programme Administrator to support the Public Health Practitioner Programme. You will join the team to provide high quality administrative support to the programme processes.
About the Programme
The Practitioner Development Programme, Yorkshire and the Humber (PHPWDP Y&H), plays a key role in supporting public health workforce development across the region. The programme delivers a structured practitioner scheme designed to support public health practitioners in working towards registration with the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR), the professional regulator for public health professionals in the UK. In addition, the programme provides a continuing professional development (CPD) offer for public health staff across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality administrative support to the programme processes.
- Support the Programme Coordinator and ensure processes are managed correctly.
- Work with colleagues within the Business Operations Team and Professional Services to adopt and embed a continuous improvement and service improvement approach.
- Establish and develop best practice processes and procedures and ensure implementation.
- Handle confidential information in a discreet, sensitive and diplomatic manner, ensuring security of access to such information is always maintained.
