Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a multi-site retail and hospitality background, looking for a new challenge? Do you have a proven track record of driving income, operational efficiency and continuous improvement? Would you like to join our ambitious team and work flexibly across the catering portfolio?

The University of Leeds are seeking a commercially minded, industry professional to strengthen the senior management of the catering portfolio. Using the experience and knowledge gained managing a complex multi-site operation and/or high street branded retail operations, the successful candidate will possess a high level of commercial knowledge and ability.

As Senior Operations Manager, you will be passionate about delivering modern catering services that exceed customer expectations and contribute towards enhancing the student experience. You will be an experienced senior manager, who can motivate and develop the team to achieve their potential, through the utilisation of a wide range of interpersonal skills.

Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and proficiency in financial/business management are all essential, as is ensuring compliance with health and safety and food safety legislation.

This position will report to the Head of Retail Catering, with a Catering Operations Manager as a direct report, and will manage all non-kitchen hospitality and retail operations within the Catering department.
