The predicted salary is between 25650 - 31350 £ per year.
The successful candidate will work within the School of Education supporting the Co-designing a REading App To use in primary Education (CREATE) project.
This project is investigating the potential of a Dynamic Decoding Assessment (DDA) as an app suitable for use by teachers in mainstream primary schools to identify children at risk of Dyslexia.
The first phase of the project employed participatory methods to co-design a prototype DDA app with children and teachers.
This role involves supporting the next phase of the project which is user testing and evaluation of the prototype app.
This will involve supporting teachers to use the app and gathering feedback from them and the children they work with to inform app refinements.
The postholder will coordinate school recruitment, manage data collection and consultation activities and carefully document research findings.
They will work with trainee teachers to co-design training materials to accompany the app and use survey methods to collect insights regarding the perceived value of the app from teachers and school leaders.
You will be an enthusiastic individual, able to confidently work with a wide range of research partners.
You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills combined with an ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
You will also be required to work across teams within the School, Faculty and University.
