This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are seeking a proactive Senior Employability & Placements Officer to join our Student Careers team. Working as part of the Directorate of Student Experience and Support, you will take a leading role in managing and delivering a range of employability opportunities for students – working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, as well as external industry partners. Initially you will be based in Engineering and Physical Sciences; over the course of your role this may change in accordance with business and personal development needs.

The faculty‑based Employability & Placements Team ensures that students can access comprehensive career‑enhancing opportunities, including industrial placements, study abroad, work‑related learning and summer experiences.

Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role may only be suitable for first‑time Skilled Worker visa applicants who are eligible for salary concessions.
