We are seeking a commercially minded leader to drive high-impact marketing strategies that influence who chooses Leeds—supporting sustainable growth, strengthening our value proposition, and enhancing our international reputation.

In this significant marketing leadership role, you will lead specialist teams across digital, content, campaigns and events—delivering innovative, insight-led marketing that converts interest into enrolment. Working closely with faculties and key professional services stakeholders, you’ll operate at senior level to design and deliver ambitious recruitment plans that respond to evolving markets and changing student expectations.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and a member of the Marketing Leadership team, the Deputy Director, Student Recruitment Marketing is the strategic lead for student recruitment marketing. You’ll play a central role in a complex and fast-paced environment, using data, creativity and strategic leadership to optimise the applicant journey end-to-end. With responsibility for student recruitment marketing performance, budgets and continuous improvement, you’ll make a direct contribution to institutional priorities and help shape our future student community.

Salary £61,759 to £73,708 per annum plus responsibility allowance of £4,100 per annum (Grade 9)
