Are you an experienced academic with a proven ability to carry out teaching and scholarship in accounting, finance, banking and related topics? Do you have the drive to tackle new challenges and deliver world‑leading scholarship and an exceptional student experience at a Russell Group University?
We are seeking outstanding individuals with a strong teaching and scholarship profile to complement our existing strengths in Accounting, Finance and Banking. The Accounting and Finance Department fosters a vibrant research culture where the personal development and career progression of early‑career researchers is integral to our strategy.
Our research is organised around four main themes, focused on applied and empirical studies and supported by four specialist research centres. We invested over GBP 2.5m in databases to assist world‑class research, and over the most recent six‑year period our members published over 40 articles in journals recognised as either Journals of Distinction (CABS 4) or Top Journals in their field.
