Are you an enthusiastic, well-organised, technically adept, and versatile individual with a strong student service orientation? Do you want to use your skills and experience to support our busy laboratory and help deliver an excellent teaching experience for our students? We are seeking a professional and proactive individual to support our teaching Laboratory in the School of Chemistry.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, organising, and operating the laboratory activities
  • Preparing materials and maintaining equipment
  • Enhancing the student experience through demonstrations and providing support and advice

Requirements:

  • An A-Level in Chemistry (or equivalent qualifications/experience)
  • Proven experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills with staff and students

This position involves a two-stage selection process, including an online interview and practical assessments to evaluate skills and experience against the person specification. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
