Are you enthusiastic about driving innovation in the regional ecosystem and supporting diverse businesses? We are seeking an Innovation Community Lead to oversee delivery of support to businesses engaged with the Health Innovation Leeds Incubator. This role will guide the development of a regional roadmap for fostering an innovation-driven enterprise ecosystem, lead activities for bringing a diverse range of businesses into the innovation funnel, and champion place-based interventions that support growth and impact.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all programme objectives align the Nexus and University of Leeds vision with the West Yorkshire Investment Zone vision, are executed with quality and deliver lasting outcomes. Working with multi-stakeholder partnerships which include but are not limited to Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Combined Authority, and other stakeholders.
You will play an important role in defining and delivering innovation support, project guidance for grant funding, and organising events for businesses of all scales as part of the Health Innovation Leeds Incubator. You will act as the face of the Incubator Delivery team for Nexus across all events and support, ensuring business needs are articulated to the Operational and Strategic Delivery groups to inform the evolution of support through the Health Innovation Leeds Incubator.
You will play a key role in delivering programme outputs and associated impact while being part of a team driving a forward-facing strategy that aims to create additional programmes in response to the needs of the regional ecosystem.
Please note that this post may be suitable for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route but first-time applicants might need to qualify for salary concessions.
