Impact, Information and Reporting Coordinator

Overview of the Role

The NIHR Leeds BRC is an infrastructure grant of Β£22M from the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) to drive excellence in translational research across the University of Leeds and the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT). An integral post within the BRC core operations team, you will be based within the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic & Musculoskeletal Medicine (LIRMM) and will work closely with the Leeds BRC Senior Management Team.

The BRC Impact, Information, and Reporting Coordinator will be responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting of BRC impact, performance data and portfolio activity. Impact, activity and output monitoring is a key component to the success of the BRC ensuring senior leadership and other stakeholders are kept up to date with progress and activity and ensuring we meet the reporting requirements and provide exemplars of our impact to the NIHR.

The post-holder will be responsible for assisting in the production, development and analysis of a range of key metrics (e.g. grant applications and awards, active projects, grant expenditure, external funding, research outputs) and will provide guidance and advice on collection and analysis of this data, including communicating and presentation of key metrics and data validation and exemplars of impact.

They will support the Senior Management Team by having oversight of and reporting from the BRC portfolio and performance data sets.
