Health and Safety Officer

Salary: Grade 6 (£30,487 – £36,024 p.a. depending on experience)

Please note that this 6 month secondment opportunity is available to staff currently employed at the University of Leeds only.

Are you a highly motivated individual, with an interest in health and safety? Do you have some Health and Safety experience and now looking for an opportunity to work with the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Faculty of Medicine and Health for 6 months?

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and non-bureaucratic individual to support the delivery of the health and safety management system as a secondment opportunity.

You will report into one of the Health and Safety Managers supporting the proactive operational management of health and safety.

A flexible and supportive approach will be required and a basic understanding of health and safety at the University would be beneficial.

This is a support role where you will be able to gain a wider understanding of the core activities across the Team.
