Are you an experienced and influential academic practitioner in the field of Family Therapy? Are you passionate about leading change and delivering an exceptional student experience?

We are looking to appoint a Director of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice Training who can draw on their extensive academic excellence to lead the suite of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice accredited programmes and CPD activity within Leeds Institute of Health Sciences. You will also be expected to advise and support on the integration of systemic practice teaching, where appropriate, into other programmes across the School of Medicine.

In addition to the identified leadership duties, you will be expected to manage the team of educators in Systemic Practice and use your experience to underpin and carry out teaching, scholarship, and research supervision in the field of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.

You will be a UKCP registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapist and eligible for inclusion on the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT) register of qualified Systemic Supervisors. You will be clinically active and meet the AFT requirements for therapeutic practice to retain professional registration as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist (minimum of 8 clinical hours/month). You will have a PhD/Professional Doctorate or be able to demonstrate equivalent substantial experience gained through study and professional experience, preferably at postgraduate level.
