This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The Transformation Office supports the University to deliver step change improvements across a wide range of activities. Managing and embedding this level of change is critical to the effective delivery of the University’s vision. The Transformation Office is tasked with leading and managing these changes and we rely on high quality administration to support the team who deliver them.
We are now seeking a flexible, well-organised and proactive Business Support Officer with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our busy Business Support Team. You will work across the breadth of the Transformation Office, providing comprehensive PA support for the Director of the Transformation Office whilst also working closely with the Business Support Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the Business Support function by managing day to day operational resource and workflow for the team. You will ensure effective support to the Leadership Team as a whole.
This role involves undertaking a wide variety of administrative tasks including diary management, supporting meetings and events, overseeing the recruitment process and purchasing. The candidate will also support the team’s communications strategy including updating website and SharePoint content.
You will have a proven track record of providing excellent PA and administrative support in a busy team, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be flexible and well-organised with an ability to deal with competing priorities. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills who is equally comfortable working independently or with others. The need to multi-task and effectively prioritise is vital.
