Business Administration Officer

Overview of the role

As a Business Admin Officer you will join the Business Admin Team in providing support in the smooth running of business operations within the Faculty of Biological Sciences. A key element of this role will be to liaise closely with key faculty functions, such as student education, HR, purchasing and finance to ensure adherence to university procedures and policies, and employment legislation. Areas of focus will include, but are not limited to, support the Directors of Student Education with student education processes and projects, academic workload model administration, Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) applications and extensions. You will provide reports and analysis across the areas you support.

You will have previous administrative experience and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will possess the ability to work to a high level of accuracy together with drive, enthusiasm and a proactive approach, which are essential requirements for the role. You should also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload. Experience of Microsoft Office or equivalent IT Software is essential.
