Do you want to play a pivotal role in the delivery of the NIHR RDN’s Portfolio Eligibility Service, ensuring high-quality research is included on the NIHR RDN’s Portfolio? Can you work within a highly motivated and innovative team dedicated to continually improving service delivery and customer experience?

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the operational delivery of the Portfolio Eligibility Service. This service assesses research studies in accordance with the Department of Health and Social Care Eligibility policy to determine their eligibility for inclusion on the NIHR RDN Portfolio and to subsequently receive planning and delivery support from the RDN.
  • Perform administrative functions for receiving and processing study applications, communicate decisions to study teams, and regularly liaise with external customers and stakeholders.
  • Collect, collate, and present information clearly and concisely in written and presentational reports to support the monitoring and continuous improvement of the Eligibility Service's performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within both the RDNCC and wider RDN, and liaise with other stakeholders as required.
  • Provide mutual support to colleagues and be positive and flexible in approach to work and organisational change.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency in using information, data, and data management systems.
  • Ability to collect, collate, and present information clearly and concisely in written and presentational reports.
  • Ability to support monitoring and continuous improvement of service performance.

Location and Working Arrangements:

This role will be based in the RDNCC office on Queen Street, Leeds. Hybrid working is supported with an expectation that at least 40% of time is spent in the office; other flexible arrangements can be discussed.
