Do you want to be part of a national network supporting the delivery of health and care research across England? Are you an experienced finance professional who enjoys coordinating complex workstreams and ensuring financial processes run smoothly and accurately? Can you deliver high‑quality management accounting while confidently monitoring, forecasting, and analysing income and expenditure across multiple service areas?
Your role will be to coordinate the financial workstreams of our Specialist Commercial Services function, including (but not limited to) the Patient Engagement in Clinical Development (PECD) service. You will deliver comprehensive management accounting, while overseeing the monitoring, forecasting, and analysis of service income and expenditure. You will also coordinate the payment process to life sciences industry and charity partners, as well as public and third sector partners who engage with the PECD service activities.
Working as part of the NIHR RDNCC Finance team, you will work closely with colleagues within the Specialist Commercial Services function of the Research Delivery Directorate. You will also be closely linked with the Public Engagement Directorate and Life Sciences, Partnerships and Growth Directorate. This role will be based in the RDNCC office on Queen Street, Leeds. We work in a hybrid way with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time in the office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.
