This role will be based on the university campus, working Monday‑Friday.
Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver teaching and simulation for students and staff across a range of clinical skills.
- Develop and run workshops that use innovative learning methods to build student competence and confidence.
- Take part in assessment and feedback on students’ clinical skills.
- Play a major role in the planning and examination of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).
- Work with academic learning to support theoretical and clinical integration.
- Promote health‑inequality awareness and culture of equality, diversity and inclusion within clinical skills teaching.
Qualifications
- Qualified healthcare professional (e.g. nurse, doctor, PA) with recent clinical contact with patients.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Current professional registration with a regulated body (GMC, NMC or HCP) and relevant healthcare qualification.
- Experience in teaching and assessment in a clinical setting.
- Holding or willingness to pursue an appropriate university teaching qualification.
