Shape the student journey at The University of Law. Join our UKVI Student Compliance team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the University's Sponsor Licence. As Senior Visa Compliance Officer, you'll own everything that happens after a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is issued, monitoring engagement, steering complex change-of-circumstance cases and ensuring every report to the Home Office is spot-on and on time. Based at our London Moorgate campus with hybrid flexibility.

As our Senior Visa Compliance Officer, you will:

  • Lead post-CAS compliance: track enrolment, attendance, intermissions, early completions and more, producing crisp reports that keep us audit-ready.
  • Act as the go-to expert for escalated student cases and staff queries, mentoring junior officers along the way.
  • Deputise for the Head of Visa Compliance: represent the team in meetings, drive process improvements and keep our Best Compliance Accuracy (BCA) metrics healthy.
  • Build smart data insights: pull, analyse and present data that pinpoints risk and informs decision-makers.
  • Deliver gold-standard service: give clear, student-centred immigration advice across email, phone and in-person channels.

Is this you?

  • Proven experience in UKVI compliance within an education setting, using the Sponsor Management System daily.
  • Sharp eye for detail and a love of turning large data-sets into actionable insights.
  • Confident communicator who can translate complex immigration rules for non-specialists.
  • Team spirit plus the autonomy to juggle priorities, meet tight deadlines and thrive under pressure.
  • A-level (or equivalent) minimum; degree-level study is a bonus.
