Roles
The School of Medicine and Dentistry has a number of exciting opportunities for Specialists to join the Clinical Academic team. Working predominantly with postgraduate students, they will take responsibility for academic teaching and clinical supervision of students across all of the postgraduate dentistry courses.
We have 4 roles available – all are part time working 1 day per week.
- Clinical Senior Lecturer in Endodontology
- Clinical Senior Lecturer in Periodontology
- Clinical Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics
- Clinical Senior Lecturer in Oral Surgery
About you
We require the postholders to have comprehensive experience in the relevant specialist practice in a hospital, clinic, or university, along with experience in teaching within a dental setting.
A full current registration with the General Dental Council as a specialist and a clinical qualification/experience in the relevant specialism are also essential. You will also need to have a formal teaching qualification or willingness to undertake one within 2 years of appointment.
