Job Responsibilities
- Provide support for front desk reception duties for checking in and checking out the patient.
- Includes high volume public contact, use of multi-tasking skills, and the ability to answer multi-line phones on a consistent basis involving internal and external customers.
- Copying/scanning/uploading patient documentation into electronic medical record.
- Gathers demographic data information and enters into the hospital EPIC system.
- Clinical site support for patient care.
- Communicates clearly.
- Ability to stand for longer periods of time.
- May work EPIC work queues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Any combination of clerical office experience, undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to two years of full‑time employment.
Job Qualifications
- Proficient in basic computer functions.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience with customer service.
- Pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Experience with direct patient contact.
- Need to be available to attend one EPIC training course as part of onboarding. This is offered every other Friday from 8AM-12PM.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous EPIC experience.
- Experience with customer service in a healthcare setting.
Hours Needed
- Wednesday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Flexibility to cover gaps in coverage or vacation requests during semester/school year.
- Must pick up a minimum of 20-24 hours per month if hours are available.
Location
West Branch, Solon, and Tipton Clinics. Will require some traveling between clinics.
