The School of Engineering seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to lead the new Top-Up Programme (Electrical pathway). This position involves teaching, scholarship, leading collaboration with our partner institute, and contributing to broader Electrical Engineering education and curriculum development.
With the global demand for sustainable and intelligent energy solutions, our department is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and impactful research in electrical power engineering. The role will focus on modules related to power systems analysis and control, smart grids, electrical machines and drives, and supporting curriculum development aligned with industry needs.
Additionally, this partnership with Humberside Engineering Training Association offers Level 6 students a pathway to complete a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering. The programme includes modules such as Embedded Systems, Robotics Systems and Sensors, Smart Grids, and Engineering Management.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in power systems and smart grids, and preferably additional knowledge in engineering management and electronics.
