This is an exciting opportunity for a HCPC-registered diagnostic radiographer to join the Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise. We are seeking to appoint an innovative and experienced diagnostic radiographer as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer within the School of Human and Health Sciences to Course Lead the Diagnostic Radiography Degree Apprenticeship and contribute to module leadership of the apprenticeship and undergraduate provision.
You will bring subject expertise in diagnostic radiography and work with the wider multiprofessional team, including those from partner NHS organisations, to contribute to the continued development of a new diagnostic radiography course.
The Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise is situated in the School of Human and Health Sciences. The Department currently offers a wide range of excellent educational provision across six allied health professions.

Responsibilities
Commitment to an innovative student-centred learning experience is essential. You will have experience of working in higher education and a broad knowledge of contemporary radiographic clinical and research issues. You will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a diagnostic radiographer and have recent post-registration diagnostic radiography clinical experience in the UK and experience of teaching and assessing undergraduate students. You will have a Masters Degree (or equivalent) and ability to register for doctoral study within 12 months of appointment. Please note candidates who are professionally qualified and ready to undertake Masters credit in their first year of employment (e.g. PG Cert HPE), to then move directly on to Doctoral study without needing to complete a full Master Degree will also be considered.

Qualifications
- HCPC registration as a diagnostic radiographer with recent post-registration clinical experience in the UK.
- Experience of teaching and assessing undergraduate students.
- Masters Degree (or equivalent) with the ability to register for doctoral study within 12 months of appointment (or professional qualification with Masters credit pathway considered).
You will also be able to register for doctoral study within 12 months of appointment. Please note that candidates who are professionally qualified and ready to undertake Masters credit in their first year of employment (e.g. PG Cert HPE), to then move directly on to Doctoral study without needing to complete a full Master Degree, will also be considered.
