This is an exciting opportunity for an HCPC-registered diagnostic radiographer to join the Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise. We are seeking to appoint an innovative and experienced diagnostic radiographer as a Clinical Skills Educator within the School of Human and Health Sciences. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, assessment and support of clinical skills and relevant theory.

The Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise is situated in the School of Human and Health Sciences. The Department currently offers a wide range of excellent educational provision across six allied health professions, midwifery, public health and sport.

You will take on the role of Skills Educator, supporting our students, who will learn within our new, purpose-built diagnostic radiography simulation facilities.

Responsibilities

Registration with the HCPC as a diagnostic radiographer is essential, alongside clinical experience in the UK, as well as experience assessing diagnostic radiography students in practice. You will have a degree in a relevant area and be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or have the capacity to obtain a fellowship within 12 months of the appointment.
