We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Finance Business Partner. This post will operate within a centralised service function whilst supporting the University’s Schools and Services, to develop and implement efficient and effective financial systems and processes. You will play a key role, working closely with the Finance Business Partners to maintain relationships with stakeholders, assisting with the provision of financial information and advice. You will be involved in annual budget planning and forecasting, holding regular budget review meetings, preparing financial information for stakeholders and helping drive the University strategy forward.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a qualified accountant or part-qualified accountant with a commitment to further studies (a study package will be provided).
  • You will have experience of working in partnership with different areas of a large and/or complex organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical and organisational skills.
  • A high level of IT skills and champion a “digital first” approach in all aspects of business operations.
