This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, highly organised, and conscientious individual to work within the Deans Office for the School of Computing and Engineering. This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months, however, as the post is linked to a maternity absence the end date is subject to change.
As a member of the executive support team, you will provide professional and comprehensive administrative support to members of our School Management Team. You will have experience working in a busy and varied administrative role in an office-based environment and have a keen sense of discretion and confidentiality. Educated to degree or equivalent qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent work-based experience and personal development.
You will be organised, motivated, and have a flexible approach both in terms of job tasks and working hours, as you may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends. You will also be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and be able to work successfully as part of a team, with the ability to form and maintain positive working relationships.
