Estates and Facilities £26,880 – £30,777 per annum Permanent 32.5 hours per week An exciting opportunity exists within the Estates and Facilities department for an Assistant Cleaning Services Manager. Our award-winning Cleaning Team provide a professional cleaning service that supports the expectations of University students, staff and visitors. The team are provided with up-to-date equipment, training and methods to facilitate a clean, safe and well-presented University. You will play a pivotal part in supporting the Cleaning Services Manager, be responsible for the Cleaning Coordinators and Cleaners, and be part of a team accountable for the provision of an efficient and effective cleaning service, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the University campus. You will be able to undertake moderate physical and manual handling activities, including moving furniture and carrying equipment. Educated to GCSE level at Grade C/Grade 4 or above including Maths and English, or with equivalent relevant experience, you will have experience of working in the cleaning industry and managing and leading large teams and will also have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office packages.
