Post Title: Teaching Fellow in Psychology
SBU/Department: Health, Medicine and Life Sciences – Psychology, Sport and Geography
FTE: 1.0fte (working 37 hours per week)
Duration of Contract: 1 year maternity cover
Salary: UH6 £33,002pa to £38,784pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 35 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
Location: College Lane Campus, Hatfield

Main duties and responsibilities
- The role involves designing and delivering engaging teaching and assessment to support the learning and application of psychology for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- As a lecturer, you will be involved in the programme development, committees and boards.
- You will also provide academic and pastoral care that supports student success.
Skills and experience required
- You will have experience of delivering engaging training and teaching.
- We are particularly looking for expertise in clinical psychology, biological psychology, health psychology, social psychology, psychology and the workplace, personality and individual differences or qualitative research.
- Experience in designing and delivering engaging teaching is essential.
- You will be adept at using IT, planning, organising and managing conflicting priorities.
Qualifications required
- Educated with a Degree in Psychology or related discipline, or equivalent qualification; a Post Graduate qualification would be advantageous.
