FTE: 1.0 (working 37.5 hours per week) (Part time may be considered)

Duration of Contract: 12 months fixed term

Salary: HSV 3 – 5 £25,608 pa (pro rata) to £30,538 pa (pro rata) plus performance related pay

Annual Leave: 23 days (pro rata) plus standard public holidays rising to 26 days (pro rata) after 4 years continuous service

Location: de Havilland campus, Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the bookings and events team to deliver a quality service to advanced booking clients.
  • Responsible for a range of administration tasks associated with block bookings, events, conference bookings, and group climbing.
  • Liaise with customers, partners, and internal departments to ensure all booking enquiries are dealt with professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide a first-class customer experience at all times.
  • Demonstrate a Service Excellence mindset by providing a consistent, efficient, high quality, and customer-oriented service.
  • Implement agreed operating procedures and standards, ensuring that the customer is at the heart of every decision.
  • Responsible for credit control and timely invoicing of clients, ensuring all relevant details are inputted into the bookings CRM system.

Skills and experience required:

  • Self-motivated individual with good IT skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of and interest in sports and the industry.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment and administration.
  • Proven ability in administration and office procedures.
  • Good knowledge and experience of administration processes is essential.

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum of GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above including Maths and English, or equivalent proven experience.
  • A-level/BTEC National Diploma or equivalent – preferably in a related area is desirable.
