The University of Greenwich is seeking an Admissions Officer to join the Communications & Recruitment Directorate. The role is based at the Avery Hill campus, with a hybrid working model (minimum two days on campus per week) and remote options. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing applications for admission to the University of Greenwich and handling related email enquiries from applicants.
Responsibilities
- Process applications and make admissions decisions consistent with agreed criteria.
- Provide good customer service – respond to applicant enquiries via email and other channels.
- Work efficiently, accurately and consistently with large volumes of data on bespoke IT systems.
- Create, organise and maintain electronic records of admissions related decisions.
- Travel to other campuses as required.
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work in a busy team environment with pressure to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently with large volumes of data.
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good understanding of Level 3 qualifications and UK and International qualifications (training provided).
