The Greenwich Business School is seeking to recruit a full-time Executive Support Officer on a permanent basis to provide a high standard of administrative and executive support to the Greenwich Business Faculty Leadership Team (PVC/FOO/Deputy Dean/Associate Dean/Directors/Heads of Department/School). This includes diary management, committee servicing, supporting annual faculty-related projects and activities as well as supporting academic recruitment processes.
This is a key customer care role requiring a caring and empathetic attitude towards staff at all levels of seniority. The successful candidate will be supporting the Faculty Leadership Team and will be required to have experience in similar roles.
This staff facing role combines the need for excellent administrative skills, executive support experience, diary management, an organised approach, confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to develop good relationships with university students and staff.
Responsibilities- Provide high-standard administrative and executive support to the Greenwich Business Faculty Leadership Team.
- Manage diaries and schedule meetings, prepare papers and minutes for committees, and service committees as required.
- Support annual faculty-related projects and activities and academic recruitment processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate an organised, proactive approach while developing good relationships with students and staff.
The post-holder must hold a Degree or professional qualification and/or extensive relevant administrative experience. Experience in similar administrative/support roles is required.
Greenwich Business School is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich and provides a wide range of postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. The post-holder must be able to work as part of a team to ensure that the wider administrative tasks within the Greenwich Business School are achieved.
The successful candidate must hold a Degree or professional qualification and/or extensive relevant administrative experience. The Greenwich Business School is located on the Greenwich Maritime Campus, a UNESCO world heritage site.
