We are actively looking to appoint an individual with a commitment to teach high quality human anatomy and physiology at different levels on our undergraduate and post graduate programmes.

The School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful and vibrant faculty. Frequently commended for our partnership working across the sector, the school delivers a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses leading to registration in nursing, midwifery, and allied healthcare professions. The University has invested over £3 million in the development of state-of-the-art simulation centres, which will further enhance our record of teaching innovation.

We will welcome applications from individuals who have extensive knowledge and experience of teaching anatomy and physiology. They will also have experience of teaching in a Higher education or related environment and can evidence their ability to enhance student learning

The School would also consider part-time working.

As a lecturer you will be responsible for delivering high quality education and an excellent student experience in a variety of formats, where diversity, inclusivity and equality are celebrated, as well as the opportunity to take part in research and enterprise activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player and in return we will support you through continued professional development, research and knowledge exchange. Applicants without previous teaching experience will be considered as a Lecturer.

Successful applicants will have opportunity to complete a teaching qualification (PGCHE) and progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship, as well as contribute to research and knowledge exchange activities.
