Overview
We are looking to appoint a Post Doctoral Research Assistant to conduct research and development activities concerning various solid waste-based feedstock and convert those into chemical/construction products using CO2 mineralisation approach. Manufacturing of new 'product(s)' and their life cycle analysis (LCA) and techno‑economic analysis (TEA) will also be undertaken in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the research programme involving waste screening and characterisation.
- Perform valorisation using CO2 mineralisation.
- Characterise products including LCA and TEA.
- Collect and interpret data, and produce professional reports.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of physical and chemical characterisation/testing of products.
- Understanding of risks associated with waste material handling and testing.
- Strong data collection, interpretation and professional report writing skills.
