The Medway School of Pharmacy — a joint initiative between the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent — is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Services Manager to lead our committed technical team across our clinical laboratories, science laboratories, and simulation‑based teaching environments. Supporting around 700 undergraduate and 100+ postgraduate students, our School delivers high‑quality Pharmacy education and research.
You will oversee a team of Clinical Pharmacy and Science‑based technicians, ensuring excellent technical provision for practical teaching, clinical skills training, and simulation activities. You will manage and develop technical services across the School, ensuring our laboratories, simulation suites, and specialist facilities operate safely, efficiently, and innovatively. You will champion continuous improvement and support the professional growth of technical staff, including active advocacy for the Technician Commitment. We are looking for someone who brings strong leadership and a passion for advancing technical support in Pharmacy education.
