The Natural Resources Institute (NRI) at the University of Greenwich invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to explore Gender‑Based Violence (GBV) within food systems through a feminist, intersectional and decolonial lens. The successful candidate will co‑produce audio‑visual and written research outputs, co‑design materials with stakeholders, publish high‑impact academic papers, and support dissemination to partners in Colombia and Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Co‑produce audio‑visual and written research outputs that inform policy, practice and public understanding.
- Co‑design research materials and training packages with stakeholders in the Global South.
- Publish high‑impact academic papers in journals and present findings at conferences.
- Collaborate with partners in Colombia and Nigeria to support project objectives and dissemination.
- Contribute to the development of creative, embodied methodologies and audio‑visual material.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in gender studies, creative methodologies, food systems or a related discipline.
- Strong track record or experience in researching gender‑based violence, especially within food system contexts.
- Familiarity with feminist, intersectional and decolonial research approaches.
- Proficiency in creative and embodied research methodologies, including audio‑visual production.
