The Natural Resources Institute (NRI) is a multi‑disciplinary centre of the University of Greenwich, based at the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent. NRI delivers research, consultancy, teaching and training to support food and nutrition security, sustainable development, economic growth and poverty reduction, mainly in developing countries.

This is a full‑time, fixed‑term role covering maternity leave until 02/05/2027. The successful candidate will support complex administrative standards and systems within a teaching support office, contributing to NRI’s business delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support core student administrative activities: student wellbeing, faculty assessment panels, examinations administration, awards ceremonies, registration, attendance monitoring and retention.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience working in a busy student office, using office IT systems to support the delivery of graduate and postgraduate teaching activities.
  • Ability to work in a deadline‑driven, teaching and research environment.
  • Interest in and commitment to the work of NRI.

  • Location: Medway Campus, Chatham, Kent.
  • Contract: Fixed Term (maternity cover) until 02/05/2027.
  • Salary: £28,031 to £31,236 per annum.
