We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative and passionate marketing professional to lead our Marketing team in the Faculty of Health, Education and Human Science (FEHHS). This post combines creativity with operational excellence and would be ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment who can balance compelling brand storytelling with practical delivery and inspiring leadership.

Purpose of the Role

You will spearhead the marketing for the three academic schools within FEHHS (School of Education, School of Health Sciences and School of Human Sciences) and their diverse portfolios of programmes, as well as supporting the Faculty's research institute, the ILD. You will lead the development of the faculty marketing strategy and its operational implementation. You will support your team to deliver recruitment campaigns, digital communications, and faculty events that attract and convert prospective students. You'll be the go-to person for faculty marketing and work collaboratively with colleagues in Marketing and External Relations, other faculties and external agencies. You'll also be a member of the faculty Professional Services leadership group.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of student recruitment events, including open days, taster sessions, and outreach activities.
  • Expanding our creation of engaging digital content for web, email, and social media that reflects our brand and resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Producing high quality marketing materials and communications, including photography, video, press items and design assets.
  • Maximising and developing outreach opportunities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the Faculty and University to ensure consistent and timely communications.
  • Analysing the impact of initiatives and pivoting flexibly to redirect focus where needed.

Who We Are Looking For

A self-starter with depth of experience in marketing, events, or communications, ideally in an HE or student recruitment setting. An experienced line manager, a leader who is able to support and encourage a cohesive team to deliver timely, high-quality outputs. A confident communicator with strong writing and interpersonal skills, able to build strong, collaborative relationships with academics and professional services colleagues. A creative thinker who can take initiative and solve problems, multitasking as necessary.
