We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Student Experience Officer to support the delivery of a high‑quality, inclusive and engaging student experience across the Faculty of Engineering & Science and across both campuses in Medway and Greenwich. Reporting to the Student Experience Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day coordination and delivery of student‑facing activity across both campuses. This includes:
- Leading on the planning and delivery of welcome and induction programmes, student events, engagement campaigns, and faculty‑wide initiatives that support student success and community building.
- Taking ownership of student communications and digital content, ensuring information is clear, accessible and consistent.
- Coordinating key student surveys and feedback mechanisms (NSS, PTES, PRES) and using insights to drive improvements in engagement and satisfaction.
- Supporting committees, panels and formal processes, contributing to the effective operation of student experience governance within the Faculty.
- Line managing a Student Experience Officer, providing day‑to‑day direction, support and development.
- Acting as a visible and approachable point of contact for students, offering guidance and working with colleagues across academic and professional services teams to resolve issues and enhance the overall student journey.
- Using insight and feedback to support continuous improvement, deputising for the Student Experience Manager where required, and ensuring a consistent high standard of service delivery across both campuses.
As a senior member of the team, you will line‑manage a Student Experience Officer and may be based at either campus. Staff based at the Medway Campus are not eligible to receive London Weighting.
