Position Overview: Senior Fundraising Manager – Alumni & Fundraising, Greenwich Campus.
Salary: £46,049 to £56,535 plus £5,476 London weighting per annum.
Part Time Hours: 28 hours per week.
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 12 months.
We are embarking on a landmark capital campaign to establish a new home for our Business School. The role is senior, at the heart of a high‑performing fundraising team, and will lead major gift fundraising, developing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners. You will bring creativity, strategic insight, and exemplary relationship‑building skills to drive forward a culture of philanthropy across the institution, influence campaign strategy, act as a senior ambassador, and guide colleagues in best practice fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major gift fundraising activity, securing six‑ and seven‑figure contributions.
- Manage and grow a dynamic portfolio of major donor prospects.
- Help shape campaign strategy, priorities, and prospect pipelines.
- Develop compelling cases for support and tailored donor engagement plans.
- Build productive relationships across the University and with external partners.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentoring within the fundraising team.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong track record in major gift fundraising, securing high‑value gifts.
- Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to drive fundraising performance.
- Experience working within a campaign or results‑focused environment.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and representing the University externally.
