The Greenwich Business School Timetabling Team is responsible for overseeing the delivery of student timetables and room allocations for all teaching, ensuring the optimisation of space utilisation and provision of a high-quality service to staff and students. As a Faculty Timetabling Officer you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive academic timetabling service, providing essential support to both students and academic staff.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Faculty Senior Timetabling Officer to optimise teaching schedules and meet faculty requirements.
  • Manage individual workload and ensure all key deadlines are achieved.
  • Deliver excellent communication and customer support to all stakeholders.
  • Gather and retrieve large-scale data, balancing competing demands and managing customer expectations.
  • Use a timetabling software package (e.g., Enterprise Course Planner). Proven knowledge of such packages is required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Highly motivated, well organised and detail-oriented.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with large-scale data gathering and information retrieval.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience from within or outside the Higher Education sector is encouraged.
