Role: Employability Skills Advisor within the Employability Service at the University of Greenwich. This post supports the Curriculum Shape refresh project to embed employability at the core of students’ academic and university experience. The Employability Skills Team delivers high-quality, personalised support to students and collaborates with academic colleagues to embed employability content into the curriculum. This ensures career development is not an optional extra—it’s an integral part of the learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one‑to‑one guidance, run skills workshops, develop learning materials, and deliver digital careers resources.
- Offer access to real‑world experiences and work with Faculties to create a seamless support system that empowers students to explore their potential and take confident steps towards their future.
- Deliver workshops and contribute to materials and guidance in an education setting, engaging students in preparing for their future careers.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience delivering workshops, developing learning materials, and providing guidance, ideally in an education setting or similar environment.
- Ability to work in partnership with academic and professional services staff to provide innovative and impactful student support.
- Based at the Maritime Greenwich campus with occasional work at Avery Hill and Medway campuses.
