Are you passionate about Facilities Management and shaping the next generation of industry professionals?
We\'re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Facilities Management to join our growing team at the Greater Manchester Business School.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire future Facilities Management professionals while contributing to the development of innovative degree and apprenticeship programmes that are closely aligned with industry needs.
You\'ll work alongside experienced academics and industry partners, helping students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching across undergraduate and apprenticeship programmes
- Develop innovative learning materials and assessments
- Build strong relationships with employers and industry stakeholders
- Support student success through academic guidance and pastoral care
- Contribute to research, knowledge exchange and commercial activity
- Help shape curriculum development to ensure graduates are workplace-ready
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant discipline
- Expertise in Facilities Management and current industry practice
- Teaching, training or professional development experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A passion for student success and educational excellence
- Knowledge of apprenticeship provision (desirable)
- A postgraduate qualification, professional membership, teaching qualification and/or HEA Fellowship (desirable)
