Due to our ongoing growth, we are now looking for a Professional Development (T&L) Practitioner to join our team.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be leading and carrying out teaching observations of staff and developing CPD, to ensure that the quality of education aligns with higher education quality frameworks (Advance HE, Ofsted, Apprenticeship Standards, Office for Students), aiming for continuous enhancement.

The successful candidate should be able to clearly demonstrate their understanding of relevant HE inspection frameworks and how this translates to demonstrable quality of education within the classroom for inspection. They should, by hands on experience, also be able to demonstrate how, via CPD training, they have influenced and maintained quality of education within an educational establishment.

Successful applicants will be required to prove their right to work in the UK prior to the commencement of their employment. Whilst the University of Greater Manchester is a licensed sponsor, under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) not all roles are eligible for visa sponsorship. This position may not meet the criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). Eligibility will be assessed in line with the Home Office requirements at the time of making the offer.
