Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will engage with colleagues and contractors to provide dedicated project management to ensure the University’s physical estate, staff and students are prepared for the enforcement of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, in April 2027.
  • This includes leading the delivery of capital security mitigations and physical upgrades across the estate as well as coordination with staff, students and the Security Industry Authority to ensure that the University is fully compliant against the Enhanced Tier regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in Project Management.
  • A clear understanding of the requirements of Enhanced Tier premises and events.
  • Ideally have NEBOSH National Certificate in Protecting Enhanced Duty Premises and Events.
